Hydrogen PVFC hybrid system, modelling, simulation, testing
Autonomous hybrid power systems are used to supply electricity to the consumer without being connected to the electric grid. These kinds of decentralized systems are frequently located in remote and inaccessible areas, as the utility grid extension to those areas is not a cost-effective option and sometimes technically not feasible. The purpose of this paper is to create an accurate simulation photovoltaic-fuel cell (PVFC) hybrid system model. This system is analysed under different conditions such as different power conditioning unit technologies (Sunny and SW Trace technologies) and different weather conditions (Cairo, Egypt, at North Africa and Kassel, Germany, at Middle Europe approximately) to optimize the system design.
