Micro-Stepping, Stepper Motor, precision
In the modern era of digital systems, externally commuted motors have found vast applications in industry. For a more stable and precise motion in stepper motors, micro stepping is used. This paper discusses the implementation of this technique using computer and embedded device software with special reference to adaptive hysteresis technique. This paper also discusses the software imple mentation using Object Oriented Programming Language. This technique involves feedback. It helps us to make the whole system simple with great reliability. Pulse width modulation is used for current control in coils using adaptive hysteresis technique. In order to determine the current level in a coil for a desired position, dynamic self-training is used.
