Face detection, Ellipse Fitting and Template Matching
This research describes an algorithm for face detection that able to locate human face embedded in complicated background. It is a continuation of our previous work [1] where the output of moving object extraction is used as input for this paper analysis. Edge information is used to locate the boundary of a human face where Hough Transform has been carried out. The face candidates resulted from this step are further verified by using template matching.
