The paper elaborates on a control-based approach to the dynamic component-based distributed reconfigurable computing systems helping to tackle in a unified manner the dynamicity of the systems and the uncertainty of their environments, to reduce the complexity of the reconfiguration, and to increase its flexibility. Specifically the paper focuses on the context as an information basis of the reconfiguration mechanism.
