We envision that providing context aware learning services is the first step toward semantic learning services to enhance current Web based learning from a semantic level by finding the right collaborators, right content and right services in the right place at the right time. In this paper, we present our context aware service oriented architecture, consisting of agent platform, service pool, and semantic matchmaker along with a formal learning service description model for intelligent discovery of Web learning services based on the service requester’s surrounding context.
