The process of designing and implementing a wireless local area network (WLAN) is presented herein, and some valuable insights on key factors and considerations for the realization of a WLAN are discussed. The design and implementation presented is constrained by the building architecture, security concerns, signal attenuation and interference, and equipment availability.
