Abstract

A new simulator dedicated to the evaluation, veriﬁcation and optimization of protocols for wireless adhoc networks is presented.This paper focuses primarily on the modelling of the wireless medium (WM) and how this medium may be interfaced to a physical layer (PHY) model. In partic ular, a model for the IEEE 802.11 PHY has been imple mented and is discussed in this paper.
