This paper deals with the application of recurrences theory to analyze very accurately the dynamic behavior and the stability of power electronic converters particularly when they are part of feedback control systems. It is shown how to study the state evolution of such systems by recurrent series defining its state at instants when control signals are applied to controlled semiconductor switches of the power electronic converter. The application used for demonstration is polyphase rectifier fed DC inductive load.
