Adaptive knowledge control systems, testing time, evaluate the student’s knowledge.
The article describes the technology of identifying the optimal testing time in adaptive knowledge control systems that is made up of a number of steps: division of the tested group into three categories; testing the hypothesis about the normal time distribution in each group using the Pearson criterion; taking the second try with the identified testing time; identifying the rank correlation between the outcomes of both tries. The application of this technology will give the opportunity to effectively evaluate the student’s knowledge, that largely depends on individual characteristics and capabilities of learners as well as on accurate organization of the learning process, individualization of learning, the level of learning content and the objective character of control.
