Abstract

Bifurcation diagrams are generated to examine the nonlinear be- haviour of the modular parallel-input/series-output current-mode controlled pulse-width modulated full-bridge boost-derived dc–dc converter which has been studied in M.R.D Al-Mothafar, Interna- tional Journal of Modelling and Simulation, 26(1), 2006, 24–33. The effect of the external compensating ramp is demonstrated and the issue of determining the maximum duty ratio for subharmonic-free operation of a converter module is addressed.
