In this working paper we are going to present an icono graphic visualization (”Stock Diamond”) to represent the actual situation and trends on a stock market. The Stock Diamond is designed to be used in large quantities to ob serve many stocks at a glance. Via the design we draw the user’s attention to notable changes of the spread or the trad ing volume. Further we include information about maxima and minima of the best bid and ask.
